If a deal has already been stacked and changes are made later, you may need to backdate the tax date for accounting purposes.

Follow these steps:

  1. Locate the Deal:

    • Use the search bar to find the deal by entering the vehicle registration and clicking View Deal,
      OR

    • Navigate to the deal via the Deals tab.

  2. Open Additional Details:

    • Once you're viewing the deal, scroll to the bottom-left corner of the page.

    • Find the panel labeled Additional Details.

  3. Edit the Tax Date:

    • In the Additional Details section, locate Invoice – [Edit] and click the Edit button.

    • You’ll now be able to update the Tax Date (top-left of the pop-up window) to the desired date.

    • Make sure you save any changes you make.

  4. Confirm the Update:

    • The new tax date will be reflected on the invoice and within the document pack.

    • You may need to click View Updated Invoice to see the changes if you have already issued the invoice to the customer.
