You can control when vehicles are automatically removed from your website and third-party advertisers, such as Auto Trader, by adjusting your Automatic De-Advertising Triggers in Dealerkit.
Step 1 – Access Settings
Log in to Dealerkit.
Click on your name in the top-right corner.
Select Settings from the dropdown menu.
Go to the Advertising section.
Step 2 – Locate Automatic De-Advertising Triggers
In the Advertising settings, find the Automatic De-Advertising Triggers area.
This section lets you choose when vehicles should be automatically removed from each advertising channel.
Step 3 – Set Your Trigger Conditions
You can choose when a vehicle is de-advertised based on its status. Options include:
Step 4 – Choose How Long to Keep Vehicles Live
You can specify how many days a vehicle should remain visible after meeting the trigger condition.
Step 5 – Adjust by Channel (Optional)
Each advertising channel can have its own rules, allowing you to control how long vehicles stay visible on each platform.
Use the toggles to apply different timings for your website, Auto Trader, and any other connected advertisers.
For example, you might want vehicles to remain on your website for a few extra days after being sold, but be removed from Auto Trader straight away. In this case, set the website to 5 days and Auto Trader to 0 days.
This flexibility helps you manage visibility across platforms without needing to manually remove vehicles.
Step 6 – Save Your Settings
Once your preferences are set, make sure to save your changes.
Dealerkit will automatically handle de-advertising based on the rules you’ve defined.
