Step 1: Set Up Your GVA Account
Before linking anything in DealerKit, you will first need to sign up for and configure your Google Vehicle Ads account.
Ensure your Google Business Profile and/or Google Merchant Center account is fully set up and approved before proceeding.
Step 2: Link Your GVA Account to DealerKit
Once your GVA account is active:
Contact our support team to provide you with your GVA credentials.
Enter the required GVA credentials provided during your Google setup.
Save and confirm the connection.
This will establish the feed link between DealerKit and Google.
Step 3: Locate Your Store Code
Your Store Code is required for the feed to function correctly. You can find this in one of two places:
Option 1: Google Business Profile Manager (Recommended)
Sign in to Google Business Profile Manager.
Select the relevant location (if you manage multiple).
Go to Business Profile Settings.
Select Advanced Settings.
View or copy your Store Code.
Option 2: Google Merchant Center
Log in to Google Merchant Center.
Navigate to Products > Feeds.
Locate the Stores table within your local inventory data source.
Identify the submitted store_code value.
Step 4: Add Your Store Code into DealerKit
To input your store code into DealerKit:
Click your username in the top right corner.
Select Settings.
Go to Company Details.
Click Locations.
In the bottom right corner, select the option to add your Store Code.
Save your changes.
Step 5: Confirm Setup
Once the account is linked and the store code has been added:
Allow time for the feed to process and sync.
Monitor your Google account for approval or feed status updates.
If required, contact DealerKit support to confirm everything is connected correctly.
