Does DealerKit cancel reservations / deals in AutoTrader? Yes - we will automatically mark the lead as cancelled or won on AutoTrader when you mark the lead as ‘Cancelled’ or ‘Won’ within DealerKit. This will trigger refund of any holding fees.
Why are my leads are staying in the ‘New’ tab on AutoTrader? We can’t currently move them to ‘In Progress’ within portal for you, AutoTrader are working on allowing us todo this. Once they allow us todo this we’ll automatically start moving them for you, until then you will need to click into the lead in portal which will trigger it to move to ‘In-Progress’.
When a reservation is placed on AutoTrader, will the vehicle change to 'Reserved' status and a reservation be created within DealerKit? No - by default you will need to reserve the vehicle within DealerKit. If you want to automatically create a reservation in DealerKit when a reservation is placed on AutoTrader please contact us.
